What is checked
Two parts, one verdict
Base subscription
Office 365 E1 / E3 / E5 / A5 or Microsoft 365 E3 / E5 / A5. Any one of them, purchased. This is the only part most tenants need to think about.
Advanced management
A Microsoft 365 Copilot license assigned to at least one user, Microsoft 365 E7, or the SharePoint Advanced Management Plan 1 add-on. Seats you own but have assigned to nobody do not count.
Why two actions care
Blocking or allowing a site in Copilot search uses Restricted Content Discovery, which Microsoft gates on both parts. Every other action - sharing, access, groups, apps, licenses - runs on any Microsoft 365 subscription.
How exact this is
Your products exports product names, not part numbers, so a name is matched to the plan it belongs to. After you connect, the Action readiness screen reads your subscriptions directly and is exact.
